The XL7 Polymer series viscometers are specifically designed for melt-pipe extruder applications.

These viscometers provide continuous real-time dynamic viscosity of melts. Their special high-load construction allows uninterrupted duty under high temperature, pressure and viscosity conditions with virtually no maintenance.

The sensing part of the transducer is contoured to fit the radius of the pipe so the sensor presents a flush surface to the inner bore of the pipe, eliminating troublesome pockets and minimising any disruption to flow.
