This picture of a Hydramotion Viscolite dipping into a container of yellow printing ink was chosen by the prestigious Ink Maker magazine for the cover of a recent Buyers’ Guide.

The highly viscous nature of the ink presents no problem for the Viscolite, which can easily cope with viscosities up to 10,000 centipoise. No delicate or expensive accessories are needed. The solid stainless steel probe is simply dipped into the ink and viscosity is displayed immediately on the readout unit.

After use, the sensor is wiped clean and it is ready for the next measurement. It is not even necessary to switch the instrument off between readings.
